I just want to share with you an experience I recently had during my daily devotion. As part of the devotion for that day I was reading Psalm 79, when verse 11 gripped me. It reads;
‘May the groans of the prisoners come before you; by the strength of your arm preserve those condemned to die.’
Suddenly, I was aware that right at that moment men & women in other countries were being persecuted for their faith in Jesus. I knew there were some who were ‘condemned to die’. So, I began to intercede for them, and prayed until I felt the burden lift. This is the first occassion that this has happened to me in the middle of ‘my’ time with God.
