The LORD has been impressing upon me, the importance of those men who lowered the crippled man, through the hole in the roof, to Jesus’ feet.  So many different people come to our services with so many different problems.  The one thing, that many have in common, is the inability to get themselves to the presence of The LORD (Who can accend the hill of the LORD?…).  I’ve been learning this principle in the context of leading worship/intercession but this is also applicable to any disciple of christ who has any contact with those who are in great need of the Lord for Salvation, healing, deliverance, peace etc. 

My life must back-up what I do on the stage or streets.  This is why I also am required to continually press forward and persistantly dig and seek that deeper purification and alertness of my spirit man; that God might find a pure entry route to minister to man as his heart so yearns to.  There are so many devestated lives, of real people, who need someone who will live a life that will untie The LORD’s hands to bring about unpresidented conviction, mercy, redemption and restitution into their lives.

Oh God that you would find that heart in me, that you might search my life and conclude: ‘Yes, here I can rest and be myself, love people as I want to love them and build my kingdom as I see fit’
