Recently in my daily devotionals and on Fireschool, I have felt God challenge me as to what foundation I am building my life upon. Many people build up foundations and place their trust and security in things such as jobs, finances and family. And although God wants us to have these things and be happy with these things, they are not to be the main foundation in our life. God has challenged me more and more that I need to build my foundation in Him. That my one passion should be to seek His face and glory daily, and then out of that build everything else with His guidance. Matthew 6vs33 says, Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and then all these things will be added on to you. And that is exactly what I want to do. To seek first His kingdom at all times, in regards to communion with him, and in seeing His kingdom established on earth in practical ways, showing love, meeting needs etc. And hope this challenge to me will become a challenge to you also.
