Will you pour your life out?

This week has taken fire school to a new level. There has been a fresh challenge to move upstream with God; to waste our lives in loving God, and allowing Him to fill us with His compassion for a lost & dying world. I have felt the conviction of God in every session - both in intercession and the teaching.

The question God keeps on asking me is simply “Will you pour your life out?” Its a day by day, hour by hour challenge that makes me squirm even as I’m writing. It is impossible to run from the conviction that God is longing to ‘love us to death’ as Heidi Baker would say! But if that’s all it remains, just a conviction, and nothing results of it… its simply a waste of emotion. It has to move me to seek His face till I’m lost in loving Him, and I live fully surrendered to the will of my Lord.

And thats where I’m at. Its very uncomfortable. My cry is to say “yes God!” To wake daily and love my Saviour. To cry out for my nation, to take his presence to those who are lost… to live poured out for the King.
